About Foxmittens
Hello, I'm Julia and since the age of around 8, photography has been part of my life. Starting out with a red point and shoot film camera (it was the early '90s) and sometimes being trusted to use my dad's Canon SLR, taking photos has always been present throughout my life.
It's a past time, which I have not only found interesting, but could lose myself for hours at a time trying to play with light and compositions, and found myself utterly rejuvenated after doing so, and all with no aim other than enjoying the process and creativity it allowed.

Having spent most of my working life in the location department of the film industry, my love for photography kicked up a gear when I decided to stop location managing, and instead to change to scouting for the locations which are used in the films. It's a job I've loved for many years, but now I want to branch out and take photos for clients as well.

So if you have photography needs, please get in touch and lets go on a journey together!
Why Foxmittens
The name is a play on Foxglove, one of my favourite flowers. It's an alter ego of sorts, but also helps describe my love for flower photography.
UK Based Photographer
I'm based in Berkshire in the UK, but I have a camera, and will travel.
